Rachel Öner is a freelance Teacher Trainer who has worked internationally and in UK FE, specialising in ESOL, English and Neurodiversity. A teacher with over 30 years’ experience, she has spent over 10 years writing courses for her clients as well as her own training delivery. She has recently expanded her own course portfolio including longer blended and fully online courses. Wanting to take her course offer to the next level, Rachel recently applied for the AAL accreditation service and was successfully awarded this in April 2025.
Trading as Öner Training and Consultancy, Rachel offers CPD and courses in many topic areas and of various lengths. She regularly holds open courses including a very popular ‘Supporting ESOL Learners on maths programmes’ and has recently launched a 10-hour blended course on ‘Supporting Pre-entry ESOL and Low-Level Literacy Learners’. In the Autumn, she will be launching sessions on Neurodiversity in the Classroom’ as well as a self-access online course in ‘Supporting ESOL Leaners with Dyslexia’.
