Teacher / Trainer Award

The qualification is an opportunity for teaching and training professionals to gain formal recognition for competent virtual delivery.

Professionals will reflect upon and evaluate their use of the following, with documentary evidence to demonstrate competence:

  • Use of virtual teaching and learning platforms
  • Management of learner performance and safety during virtual delivery,
  • Teacher/trainer self-care during virtual delivery,
  • Effective dissemination of learning resources,
  • Use of learner feedback to enhance future virtual delivery.

Please note this is an unregulated qualification accredited by NCFE.

Entry requirements

  • Evidence of having delivered min. of eight online sessions (by the time of completion)
  • Trainer pathway – min. 2 years training experience
  • Teacher pathway – min. level 4 teaching qualification

To achieve the Award, you must a compile a portfolio of evidence and written reflections to demonstrate your competence.

Those wishing to complete the workshops without the qualification may do so at a reduced fee of £300.
