Lauren, who leads on the AAL Employee Wellbeing CPD 2025 Series, joined as Accreditation Lead at AAL in 2024. Lauren’s journey with AAL began after she attended a Wellbeing Webinar in 2024 centered around ‘Imposter Syndrome.’

“Taking a significant leap into self-employment and establishing my own education partnerships business, I sought encouragement, inspiration, and support. That’s when I discovered AAL’s Wellbeing Webinar Series. The session on ‘Imposter Syndrome’ felt particularly relevant to my needs at the time, especially in building my confidence as a freelancer. The webinar was fantastic—interactive, non-judgmental, and provided me with valuable tools to use in the future.

Having worked in Further and Adult Education for over 16 years in various teaching and management roles, culture and wellbeing are crucial to my approach and how I support others in the educational landscape. I reached out to AAL because their values resonated deeply with mine, emphasizing that people’s health, happiness, and wellbeing should be central to every workplace.

Now, six months later, I’m proud to be working with AAL. The 2025 Wellbeing Series will not only showcase incredible experts with lived experience but also provide a platform to share their work and connect with businesses across the country. AAL members and beyond will gain access to vital information to enhance their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues in the workplace.”
