Professional Exchange Network

Commissioned by the Education and Training Foundation, the East of England’s Professional Exchange Network supports teaching practitioners to reflect on their practice; share, collaborate and develop solutions. The Network acts as regional hub for groups of practitioners to formally collaborate 3-4 times per academic year.

Groups include:

  • Quality Assurance
  • ESOL
  • Digital Skills
  • Teacher trainers and Advanced Practitioners
  • 14-16 provision
  • Middle Managers

Our aim is to develop a sustainable practitioner-focused community for learning, sharing and improving teaching practice through the Network. This will enable practitioners from a range of education and training providers across the East of England to collaborate on small-scale action research with the sharing of practice through:

1. identifying what each individual practitioner wishes to develop, learn or improve upon;

2. collaborating with others to trial different methods;

3. working together to evaluate findings;

4. sharing learning and ideas with others through progress reports.
