The COVID 19 pandemic has created a wide range of challenges in all aspects of our personal and professional lives. In particular, in many cases it has meant that we have had to adapt how we work; embracing new technology and re-evaluating how we communicate with colleagues.
Often, we fail to prioritise wellbeing in our lives until we feel the impact. Coupled with an increase in virtual working and isolation, it has never been more important to have the conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
We have a strong wellbeing culture at AAL and our wellbeing network meetings aim to facilitate individual and organisational growth. We look at breaking down barriers, tackling challenges and reducing stigma around mental health and wellbeing through conversations and sharing best practice.
This monthly network will provide representatives from a wide range of public and private sector organisations the opportunity to collaborate in a Zoom conference; share experiences and ideas and develop new ways of supporting ourselves, each other and remote teams. We explore the concept of a wellbeing culture and take away innovative ideas to help shape wellbeing strategy on a personal and professional level.
Each month will be focussed on a national wellbeing theme to inspire, ignite and encourage discussions.
The meetings take place virtually on Wednesday mornings between 9:30 and 11:00am.
