The Bromley By Bow Centre (BBBC) began working with us, at the Association for Accredited Learning, in 2021 offering a Level 1 accredited course for Energy Champions. We have attended BBBC graduation events over the years, where we have seen more than 100 learners be awarded their certificates.
Their accredited course offers three units:
Unit 1: Managing Energy Costs
Unit 2: Keeping Warm at Home
Unit 3: Sharing Energy Knowledge with Others
“During the course I have learned a great deal about how to manage my energy bills. I have now a better understanding on how to keep my house warm while monitoring my costs in electricity and gas to fit my budget. This knowledge has empowered me to share useful information to friends and family. Also, I am now aware of the different types of help and support I have available. I am confident that I will be successful on supporting others through advice or signposting” Energy Champion learner – 2025
